The Biotechnology Endorsement has been expanded this year to include additional states (included now are Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, Minnesota, Nebraska, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin) and hybrids as well as some irrigated ground (in Nebraska and Kansas).  Eligible policies are Actual Production History (APH), Crop Revenue Coverage (CRC) and Revenue Assurance (RA) plans of insurance that provide coverage for corn for grain.  At least 75% of the total insured corn acreage planted in a unit must be planted to a qualifying hybrid.  To look up your hybrid to see if it qualifies, Click Here.  Call your Crop Insurance Specialist with questions.
