Being a farm leader, you are of course very intentional about creating, maintaining and sharing your vision of the farm's future. Seeing that vision realized means you'll have to be smart in how you protect the farm not only in the future, but also the assets it has today.
All too often we see expanding operations that don't adjust their insurance policies to correlate with that growth. Part of the problem is that it's so commonplace to not communicate regularly with one's insurance agent. Without that open line of communication, it becomes difficult to update policies accordingly with any changes or newly acquired assets in the operation. This can leave you underinsured and exposed to unnecessary potential for loss.
