Make the most of this winter office season

Coming out of a busy time like the harvest can feel like a weight has been lifted off everyone's shoulders, and it seems like a great time to put your feet up, maybe take a vacation and enjoy some family time...But if you run an unstructured off season, it can easily get away from you, and before you know it the snow is melting and it's time to get ready for spring.

Make a plan for your off season (also known as the "office season") instead of just "going with the flow." Be sure to schedule some much needed R&R into your plan, because your staff and family deserve it after the hard work they put in to get the crop harvested. However, that plan should also include getting your operation prepped to jump into spring with direction and purpose.
